he

Bismillah
Assalamualaikum wbt

He knocked the door. Despite I clearly heard it from my room upstairs, I never intended to open it and looked who was coming. I knew someone else was gonna get it. I finally went down after a series of unanswered knocks. He looked sad. Although he tried to greet me with a smile, I knew it. His tone was gloomy and weak.

Sometimes I went to his house just to say Hi and catch up. Sometimes they were busy and I sat there still and alone, yet it was completely understandable. But not recently as we were all busy.

He went in and straight to my housemate’s room. I guess they had a business to settle.

I met him again today, he looked worried just like the other day. I asked.

He said he had a high hope that he was gonna be fine. Yet, for the very first time, he was misled.

I was speechless as I never dealt with this sort of stuffs before. I knew putting a silver lining on someone else problem was the worst thing you could do, instead I said,

I know how you feel, it must be hard. It’s alright. Everything is gonna be fine. Just do your best, In sha Allah you will do great. I know it is lots to risk, yet you just need to give it a shot.

He looked at me with his teary eyes. I knew he tried hard not to let it drops. Yet, a human was still a human no matter how strong you were.

I said,

It’s alright to show our weakness, we can’t be strong all the times.

Stop relying on people, they never know everything.

Don’t put too much expectation on them, you might get disappointed.

But, rely on Him. He will and always know how painful, tiring and exhausted you’re inside. In sha Allah you will find peace in your heart.

"Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allah . Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured."
